GREATER HEIGHTS C.E.R.T. PROGRAM
MARCH MEETING: TUESDAY, MARCH 8, 2011 7:00 PM TO 9:00 PM
TOPIC: TXDOT TO ADDRESS I-10 WATERSHED PROJECT
WHERE: HOLY TRINITY REFORMED EPISCOPAL CHURCH 211 BYRNE STREET, HOUSTON, TX (Corner of Byrne and Beauchamp)
Alan Wang, Supervising Design Engineer, and Elie Alkhoury from the District Consultant Contraction Administration Office of the Texas Department of Transportation will be speaking on the I-10 Watershed Project. The presentation will include current and proposed changes to the exits and entrances that impact the greater Heights area (Houston Avenue to Washington Avenue) along I-10, status of the plans to construct the water holding ponds along White Oak Bayou, and the status of plans for a park and hike and bike trails in conjunction with the proposed holding ponds.
